largely influenced by modern fashion photography and the ever-changing Instagram aesthetic,
Selby creates paintings that speak to her awkward nature and strange personal narrative.
Mainly an oil painter, Selby prefers the unnatural views of the form with a heavy dose of
mystery, as she feels this best represents her and her story. For her, this means mostly working
