Several fun pictures from a trip in 2007 with my Dad to Saskatchewan fishing. One evening we got some great clouds and weather.
After dinner we encountered these amazing cells forming along a cold front, directly overhead.
Some very rapid rotation, but not enough ummph to make a tornado, which was good because this passed DIRECTLY above us. There was a counter rotation just to the left of the photo.
I love the next shot, taken with my trusty Canon point and shoot S80 (before I got a DSLR). A nice sheer funnel with the rainbow, and some hail too...
