Perseids were good last night, although we had clouds for the majority of the morning. I went out at 12:00 and it was mostly cloudy, then again at 1:30 - 2:30 which was mostly clear but still a hazy cloud deck. At 3:30 and 4:30 it was too cloudy to stay up for.
I caught 3 fireballs (2 slow burners without a tail, one with a tail) and about 6 other good ones. I counted 15 in that hour which is pretty good for most showers, but slow for the Perseids. Good news, this wasn't the peak time, it was a day before peak, so I'm excited for tomorrow night.
Were you able to make it out on the eve prior to the peak? If so, post your viewing to #perseids2015. Look forward to tonight!!!
