Well, the peak of the Perseids looked to be great, but it was mostly cloudy where I was. There was about 60 minutes I was able to watch where I'd get a small portal into the night's starry sky, and I saw 55 shooters. This is amazing given the very small window to witness the shower. I went out many times and each time was very cloudy after the original 1:30 timeframe. Bummer, but I still saw some great shooters through the clouds! I'm sure those of you without clouds had an amazing show. The orange glare on the clouds below is the city north of us, it was very bright (like a full moon) due to that reflection.
