This is a good setup.
Can't say enough about the kettle, It is fast and stable, great for camping. We use this kettle for everything that requires hot water. This would be great in a small apartment or dorm. Only downside is it has rusted a bit, apparently the lid isn't stainless.
The scale is perfect, runs very efficiently on batteries with capacitance buttons and the built in timer is incredibly handy.
The ROK grinder is a joy after using a Hario Skerton for years, it's easy to use and the grind is very consistent. This was a Kickstarter project, gifted by a friend. I'll keep the Skerton for travel and camping. Grinders are critical, but expensive as hell. Using a Hario Ceramic Skerton will give a sufficiently consistent grind and save hundreds. However, the ROK is well worth the extra money.
While most people use a V60 02 the smaller 01 is better for single cups. I have both and use the larger 02 for multiple cups. Buy the plastic version, the heat retention isn't an issue and it bounces better than ceramic. You will drop or knock it over eventually.
