An excerpt from my own personal narrative:
I’ve exposed myself to numerous different emotional impacts left on me by all sorts of prideful ventures. I’ve experienced the grateful tears of elderly persons being sung to by the bright-eyed children of a church. I’ve been congratulated for scoring highly on standardized tests, and I’ve been commended on my musical ability. I’ve used words to move people to tears through poetry and I’ve impressed them with my imagination through creative writing. There is no sensation in this world, however, which can live up to the feeling of a young child’s pure and devoted admiration. This is the feeling that makes my life make sense.
