I love European Beech. It is normally found in Scandinavian design and furniture.
This standing desk was one of the more difficult projects I have been able to work on. It’s not the biggest, or most complicated, but getting the telescoping wood drawer slides to work properly took several try’s and failures.
The proportions of the desk were calculated using the silver ratio, and the drawer faces were assembled from the same slab to allow the grain to flow across the face.
Throw in ample cable management, and a reversible keyboard tray/cutting mat and this desk has everything you need.
