Hello, everyone!
I've talked here before about how wrapped up I am about my identity on Ello. I'm still curating music but have chosen not to share here lately. Still not sure why. Possibly, it's a bit redundant. I do want to start sharing more of my photography and poetry. It seems Ello is more about visuals and creatives and I want to be a part of it more than ever. I'm still curating Ello Music as well. With my primary of my account here, I'm a little stuck on how to share music on Ello without being repetitive. And more artful. Not only do I share the music on here but my website, Facebook, Playmoss, Twitter. Yeah, I know, meh... Facebook? Well, it turns out that many musicians are on there and I tag them when I post a playlist/feature. They get to see it and comment. Most are not on Ello, so I'm a bit torn and use both even though I despise FB for the most part.
Right. So, the above photos I captured a couple of weeks ago with my cell phone. I made my way through Klausenpass and decided to shoot black and white with Hypocam. (These two particular pictures I had been standing and shooting out the sunroof.) I adore this app. It's brilliant, and you should get it. I was feeling a little stuck in my photography so I started shooting only black and white. My creative juices have are anew, finally! It also helps that mother nature was being so fucking awesome, I mean look at those clouds! I've never seen them through Klausenpass like this before. I hate when it's sunny and hot and lucky for me, it'd been stormy and raining. Makes for great moods, textures, and depth. Color photography is great, too, but for me, I can tell my story better through black and white.
