Selfportrait | Aus der Reihe tanzen
Open letter to myself:
You don't have to try so hard. To be perfect.
How you look, the shape of your body, doesn't define you.
You are worth so much more than a number. You are worth more than what your inner enemy is telling you.
If you looked after yourself sometimes, life would probably be better. Maybe it is time to do what is good for you. Maybe it is time to fight for yourself. Maybe it's time to start a life which is worth living.
You have wasted so many years with hating yourself, dragging yourself down, punishing yourself for every little mistake you've made. You won't get these years back. But you are able to change.
The future lays ahead of you, it's (partly) your choice how you spent it. Maybe try something new, maybe do the things which frighten you (so damn much)?
You are not a number. You are Adina. Nothing more nor less.
You don't always need to try so hard to be perfect. You don't need to try so hard. Let things be. And it will be okay. You will be okay.
You will be okay.
Please, take care of yourself.
P.S.: You should do more photos of you smiling. Because you know, it's totally okay to be happy. And to ensure: you don't have to feel bad for being happy.
