Freedom is concord, not disconnection
You've known freedom when you can taste the breezy night on your mellowing senses. When you don't need anyone to be there to lift your mood. When you're free about your memories and you can recall whatever you want. When you can sing any song of your choice, be it an elegy, a hymn, or the folk rock. When you can toss your sigh upon the wind and there's nobody trying to interpret it. When a small teardrop fills the corner of your eye and all you can do is greet it with a restrained smile. When the touch of the pages of the book you're gonna read is the texture of your own soul and its weight feels like all the weight you've been carrying. When you can light up a smoke and miss the one person who means the most to you, in this remembrance closing your eyes for a moment to pay reverence to their love for you.
Freedom is to melt down all ego at the sheer thought of gratitude and become a significant benevolence upon the mysterious goodness of the world.
