I just watched the movie Jagten (Sweden, 2012). It's about a male kindergarten teacher who, due to some willful interpretation and creative imagination, gets falsely accused of molesting one of the students. It's fascinating to watch the process by which a silly rumor quickly becomes an undisputable fact, and the way all his lifelong friends suddenly turn against him.
In many ways, it reminds me of Arthur Miller's The Crucible. Although I'd suggest the Crucible is easier to read/watch because it deals with a surface topic that seems ridiculous to us, whereas this topic (male sexual assault on children) keeps coming up in the social discourse, justified or not.
