Umberto Daina is born in Palermo in 1979. In 2002 he moves to Florence where he attends the University of Architecture and collaborates with his teachers as videomaker, making video-documentaries about urban planning and urban sociology. Since 2004 he leads seminars, workshops and lectures in various faculties, academies of fine arts and Italian institutions. In 2011 he starts teaching "3D Animation" at the Accademia Italiana of Florence. Since 2006 he is also a freelance filmmaker and graphic designer. In 2016 he collaborated with Pantone LLC as Cover Artist.
