I'm Daniel Labrosse, I'm a French-Hungarian visual artist, illustrator and animator, based in Budapest, Hungary and Edinburgh, Scotland.
A little background on me:
I was born in Budapest in 1997. I’ve been drawing as far as I can remember, but I started sharing my art with the world in 2015. Since then, I had three solo exhibitions, a number of group shows (one of them at the Tate Modern in London), and worked on a variety of different projects, including murals, decorating office spaces, concept art for ad campaigns and video games, as well as album covers.
My illustrations normally focus on gloomy subject matter with vibrant colour palettes, comic book inspired line work and surreal characters. I tend to experiment a lot, working in a variety of different mediums, including painting, digital illustration, pen and ink, sticker art, traditional animation, CGI and most recently, augmented reality.
