I was born in the North of England in 1984 and I currently live and work in Mexico City. I earned a BA in Graphic Design & Illustration from De Monfort University, Leicester, UK. My Graphic Design & Illustration training deeply influences my painting practice, as I use similar techniques and styles to portray emotion and messages. Having lived in London, I grew a fondness for the fine arts and when I moved to Mexico, I had the freedom and time to experiment with my abrstract expressionism style. My artwork takes a critical view of social, political and cultural issues. Often using photography and collage, my work explores the varying relationships between society and fine art. My artwork generally focuses on corruption in our political systems and societies. I tend to use a variety of materials for my projects ranging from acrylics to photos and everything in between.
