Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, Alejandra Madrigal-Aviña immigrated to the US at less than nine months and has been living here for the last 20 years. She is currently working as a freelance designer and illustrator based in the LA area. Her aim is to depict the world in its actuality and fantasy, to create and illustrate all the vast array of human emotion, particularly through the narratives of historically oppressed individuals. She is currently studying theatrical design at UCLA’s Theater, Film, and Television program.
