Hi, I’m Alex Foxley a British multidisciplinary creative, based in Kent.
I am a photographer, illustrator, graphic designer and animator, with a love for bold colours and eye catching-patterns. I like to explore my use of materials and methods to produce work which is fresh, innovative and engaging.
Perceptive States is an ongoing project exploring the concept of multistable perception.
The phenomena is best described as an alternation between conflicting perceptual states. It happens when sensory information is ambiguous and difficult to decipher.
This form of optical illusion has always fascinated me and is a reoccurring theme within my work. The studies in this series bridge the gap between mathematics and design.
