My name is Alex Johnston and though I was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, I grew up here in New Zealand with a passion for color and texture. I am studying the Bachelor of Visual Arts at AUT. This image describes the things that fascinate and inspire me in the world of an art student. This work is a permanent image of a temporary moment that will disappear as soon as the paint is stirred. The world around us is ever-changing and temporary, each day an event will stir the world around you, changing your perspectives and your life. This image reminds me to find the beauty in everyday moments and make the most of the things that inspire you.
