Yesterday, our hockey organizer quit after two years of chasing players to pay fees on time, having players jam out last minute or not just showing up at all, and other frustrations.
Today, no one really knows if there is going to be a game to play. Our organizer's last few words to us were to the effect of "tomorrow's game is stick and puck" - i.e.: no organized game, just a bunch of people skating around with a puck. Boring.
My guess is that at least half the players decided it wouldn't be worth it and won't show up. We'll see.
