Floyd Strickland is an emerging multi-disciplined self-taught artists from Los Angeles Ca. His work is mostly inspired by his childhood and upbringing. In his work, realistic figures are often juxtaposed with cartoons creating dream like paintings. Strickland works has evolved as he delves into the work of many classical painters. His work has evolved and taken a more personal turn as dig deep into his childhood and the struggles of growing up and being educated in Watts in the late 80’s and early 90’s. Strickland’s work is often filled with symbolisms that refer back to his childhood and the tragedies of a lost childhood.

She has shown at both SCOPE Miami and SCOPE New York, and shows all over the world. In 2017 Tracy competed on the hit TV show ‘Skin Wars: Fresh Paint’ and emerged victorious. She graduated from the Illustration program at California College of the Arts with distinction in 2012.
