I’m an animal.
At times I’m a house cat,
Leisurely naps with paws stretched out,
Feeling the sun on my back.
Other times I’m a stray dog,
Doing nasty things to stay alive,
Looking for someone to love me.
Sometimes I’m a lion,
Unparalleled strength and grit,
Hunting fiercely for what I need
I am who I need to be.
I’m an animal.
