Hello, Ello! I'm so excited to get the chance to share the exciting and vibrant world of electroforming with the Ello community.
Please follow @elloelectroforming to help spread the love and this amazing art form.
My intention with this page is to share the work of the electroforming community. I am a huge believer in community over competition and that's what this page is all about. There is room for all of us to thrive both artistically and in our businesses.
There are so many amazing electroforming artists out there. Ones who've been doing it for a while and carved out a niche for themselves, ones who are emerging and finding their artistic voice and ones who have yet to start, but are inspired by all the artists they see. I'm excited to share this art form that I am passionately in love with both within the electroforming community and the larger Ello community as a whole. I'll be searching for and posting all kinds of electroform artists and please feel free to tag #elloelectroforming so I can see what you're up to and for a chance to be reposted.
This is the first cover feature by Ello Electroforming and I figured I may as well start with myself (@amykaeatelier). I have been electroforming for over two years now and while I love working with minerals, my obsession is electroforming feathers. If you scroll through my profile you'll see what I'm taking about. Pictured here is the Moon Phase Amethyst Collection by @amykaeatelier. These were a limited run that I made these from semi-circle amethyst slices.
I plan on changing the cover to feature a different artist every week or two. If you are interested in being featured like this please let me know. The best way to reach me is through any of the links on my page @amykaeatelier. When I feature someone, they will be in the cover photo and I will also have a post like this with a caption with a little blurb about the artist and the featured work. This is going to be an every evolving project so please bear with me!!
