What role does a bathroom play in a family household? For me, the bathroom is one of the most sacred spaces in a home. A refuge where you can go to bathe, groom, empty and observe yourself, cry, spend hours on the phone or just lock yourself in to get some alone time. If you come from a large family, you'll know that the bathroom can also be a very transited space with people running in and out in a hurry and where your privacy is often non-existent. This series documents my family throughout the years in this private but also shared space where raw intimacy intersects with peculiar routines and rituals. While I work on the final edit of this project, I'd love to hear about your bathroom stories, from the bizarre to the mundane - bring them on.
