Mark Foster Gage's inspired approach to contemporary architecture has caught my eye more than once. His work often employs use of less traditional mediums (3D printing, robotics, VR) and unusual forms, with a slew of awe inducing results akin to that of the Baroque.

His firm, MFGA, recently released some conceptual renderings for a 102 story Art Deco-inspired / futurist tower that perfectly encapsulates my point.

Check out his site for additional renderings and other selected projects.
