@Phlearn Masters of the Edit Competition Submission.
Artist Name: AOK
Artwork Title & Description: "Vision Upon the Creation" 8000x8000 pixels. Multimedia digital composite art piece. For this piece I utilized about 20 photos that I took myself from daily life events, such as going to dance clubs, raves, or random things you might see on the sidewalk. Additionally, I paint my own elements on paper, photograph and import these into my imagery. I also utilize web apps and webGL simulators to create other various elements. I utilize tips and tricks that I pick up from Phlearn to manipulate these "artistic elements" to generate a completely different visionary environment. "Vision Upon the Creation" is a firsthand account/experience of what it would be like to view the vastness of a star or galaxy forming from the outset. This I documented through a story on my Instagram account: instagram.com/AOKartist.
I am an artist living and working in San Francisco, California's Mission District. Firstly, I wanted to acknowledge that I am not likely the typical artist to submit to Phlearn's contest as much of their followers are strictly photographers or graphic designers. I am not regarded as a designer or photographer, but primarily an artist and a painter. However, I utilize Phlearn tutorials quite often via YouTube and additionally many other similar services such as creativelive, udemy, skillshare, on and on. I even attended Adobe MAX 2017 in Las Vegas and went to every session.
I would very much appreciate the chance to gain a Phlearn subscription and offer my work here as a contrast to what might be out there. And I feel that doing a demo or learning experience with Phlearn would be an incredible opportunity to showcase more the experimental and boundary-pushing elements of digital art creation - including 3D and 360 environments editing in Photoshop!!! Currently I am working on a 360 matte painting environment that includes sculptural structures embedded within the 360 environment.
