I am a digital artist and photographer based out of Los Angeles, CA. My artwork serves as a commentary on the falsity of photorealism. A photograph is a recording of light, and whether the light has its basis in the physical world or virtual-existential space, it is easily manipulated and controlled. I aim to highlight the flaw in believing that the photograph is the truest form of representation.
Many of my projects involve utilizing photographic processes in unique ways. Some of the techniques I have employed include infrared scanning, photogrammetry, computer-generated imagery, and rephotography. However, many of the images have little or no manipulation done to them and only rely on the viewers preconceptions of photography.
Each image is from a different project. Image 1 is from Nowhere Gaze, Image 2 is from Walking Simulator, and Image 3 is from Ghost Scans.
