Hello, Ello. I am a returning follower. I am an artist by nature, but never consider myself to be one. I love everything artistic and creative. My passion lies in creating. I dabble in a little bit of everything, whenever I have a moment. My favorites are writing, painting, and anything clothing or fiber arts related. A co-worker once told me she truly believed that if you weren't creating, you were destroying. And I have often asked myself this question at various times in my life. Today, am I creator or a destroyer? My first posted image (again), begins with a clip from a fluid art painting I dabbled with about a year ago. My apologies on the photograph. It was taken with my little flip phone. Yes, they still do exist. I call it "Helios and Poseidon." The merged paint created this fiery twisted portrait on the bottom of the page that reminds me of an animated figure possibly from either the underworld, or from the depths of the ocean. At the top of the page, the paint swirled like Helios riding his chariot in the sky. This is just a portion of the of my version of Poseidon. The mediums consist of acrylic, gesso, and water.
