Snapchat Gets Ads?
I have really mixed feelings on this.
The market is definitely saying they're tired of ads - yet well done ads continue to work.
The market is also saying they're tired of aggressive data tracking and privacy infringement and
I have to note the Snapchat has "said the ads would not be targeted" which is an interesting move.
Snapchat also says that users may choose whether or not to view the adds, so I assume they will arrive like a message from a friend, and you can open them or ignore them.
That still makes them clutter - but also makes it more incentived for the ads to be interesting to get that open click.
