"Deep gazes, halos, long necks, blossoming skins, gold leaves, secrets and stars..."
Evgeniya is a Russian born artist based in San Diego, California.
Inspired by European Renaissance, Russian Orthodox icons, Slavic folklore, fairy tales & modern pop culture, Evgola’s art combines a classic sensibility within a contemporary setting. Something that artist-self defines as 'Neo-Renaissance'.
Her work complements real world portraiture with imaginative and often surreal narratives to highlight and reveal her subject's personalities.
Exhibited, in various Museums, Galleries of USA and Europe, published and commissioned all over the world.
