Had 10 prints made up today. They look great. Have three of the eight frames I made a week or so ago finished. Sold two already. Good start so far. I've got five finished pieces hanging up in a restaurant right now but haven't sold any so far. Still have another month before they are taken down so I'm hoping to get rid of couple still. I put a trip off this summer to Ohio to document the steel industry to start pumping out material. I've got so much material I felt that it was time to get it out there. So far it's been worth it and hopefully instead of looking for an investor for my project or doing crowdfunding to get the funds my art has begun to pay towards the trip I now have planned for late spring of next year. It's a great feeling to know that instead of asking or trying to raise money through the internet that this entire two week trip will hopefully be funded through sales of my work. Of course I'd never turn down money to fund my project, heh, but so far it's been rewarding to know my work is hanging up in peoples homes and shops and it will pay for more art to be created. Hopefully in the months coming as features are added I will be able to share what I have so far for my project "After the Industry Left" and give a look into the bigger picture that I'm trying to create with my art. Sharing an idea is only worth sharing with people who understand art and concepts. And you ello? I believe you are the right audience to get a look into what A tiny Place is about.
