The problem with the radio these days is that most of the sounds, the artists and the expectations come in waves that are all too similar. The genres are diluted with the who’s who and the same ol’ same ol’ as if they’re written from a blueprint of industry standards and what will make a million bucks. Much of the artistry is lost, the creative abilities are disabled and it seems like the image is more important than the music itself...It is true what was once said, “Video killed the radio star” but the fact remains that innovative, inspired audible art has lost its place on the air waves causing the listener to abandon the radio and dig beneath the surface to find new, pure, original music for the soul.
"rdyo.fyre" is a healthy blend of electronic, hip hop music with a driving bass line and hypnotic sounds that shape the spectrum in which the lyrics are brought to life. The intent of the design is to expose the word play and it’s exactly what it sounds like, burn the radio and discover a new fire.
In the immortal words of Zack de la Rocha: “Turn on the radio, Nah, Fuck it!! Turn it off!!”
Indulge and enjoy the latest installment of attaccan sccrolls, "rdyo.fyre".
