She's Been Gone For Awhile
I'm she. Anyway, I got home for break today although technically I was done with all my finals yesterday at like 1:30 pm when I turned in my take-home final that I finished earlier that day at 5 am. I wasn't gonna leave and just leave a perfectly good night of not being sober to waste so I stayed the rest of the day and later got baked with Amar, more on that to come. More importantly than any final though is how much I played volleyball and saw VB this week. Even got dinner and this one girl from the volleyball group gave me his number along with pretty much the numbers of the rest of the main volleyball people but like basically I have his number now lmao. I just realized how not in the mood I am to write anymore it's kind of disappointing but anyway I kinda wanna keep talking about VB so here we go, this isn't gonna be funny tbh it's literally just gonna be me reliving some of this week regarding him. He taught me a lot about a couple different sets that club runs. I mean I knew of most of them but like their technical names you know like the numbers they call out for them which at first seem pretty hard to remember but a lot of the times it's just a numerical placement of the ball with respect to the net like a 3-1 only goes one foot above the net and I think like three feet from the antenna, it's a set for the middle pretty much. More importantly than all of this though is when he tried to teach me how to run a 1 that was pretty fun. He's actually really encouraging and fun to work with like I'm not gonna bother trying to work through whether that's my crush talking or not but either way I think he's really encouraging as a person. He's like the warmth I would want to emit when I'm helping someone you know it's just very smiley and welcoming. So anyway I'm pretty shit at running a 1 which is also for middles and I'm just too fuckin small to be a middle which is fine, I've accepted this. The trick is to run when it feels uncomfortably early to even start doing your approach and I got it like once or twice lmao. He's also a good setter too though this is important to running a 1 or pretty much anything other than a 4 like you just need a good setter to start running these crazier plays and you also need a good hitter and he said something along the lines of turning me into a middle lmao which is a joke but honestly if I could choose sets from one person only it'd be from VB and that's definitely my crush talking. I also ate dinner with the volleyball group which he was also present at. We just hung out a pretty decent amount and it was fun and it'll be a month until I see him again probs so you know, just basking in this. Maybe if I see something online that really distinctly reminds me of him I'll text him but even then that might be a stretch. Keep on the look out for some good content that I can send to VB @ everyone thanks.
The Story of Number Amar Part 3? Maybe It's Only Part 2
So anyway, baked with Amar last night lmao. I probably ate a whole day's worth of food holy shit. At one point Tsering came through to j chill too and LMAO basically the next part of number Amar's story came to life right before my eyes. Tsering asks Amar how much milk he drinks a week and he says two gallons which is pretty crazy to be honest. That's a lot of fucking milk you know? Anyway, there he is answering the question and as Tsering and I look at him in silence, I think I was shocked only because I was high but in reality I knew that already, and Tsering says that's disgusting and she starts laughing so hard and then I laugh because it's kinda funny and she's laughing so hard lmao we literally couldn't breathe for a while. So anyway, basically Tsering is also a bully to number Amar in middle school and he's at the lunch table and he just really loves milk, remember that it's middle school too so the calcium is important, and so he always has like three cartons of milk during lunch lmao and Tsering is basically some kid who laughs at him for drinking so much milk. It doesn't really bother number Amar though because his mind is pretty preoccupied trying to get a handle on those number powers and also he understands that it's not weird to particularly like certain foods and the whole thing is very childish so everyday when Tsering comes to laugh in his face about his milk drinking habits he just continues drinking his cartons of milk. This definitely helps to flesh out the number Amar story a little more. I'm not sure how Tsering plays in later aspects of the story but for now she torments him in middle school lmao but is it in conjunction with Amitav? Are they separate tormentors? I really can't tell yet. We will just have to wait until January for further opportunities to find out more about number Amar's life.
Hopefully being really bored over break will spark some of that writing spirit soon. Or maybe I should go through that list in my bullet journal sometime? I feel as though I go through some very repeated topics. Who knows what'll be next or when it'll be next. But as always, stay tuned for the drama of it all.
