Note: As Schafer has correctly pointed out, the legitimacy of this project has been put into question: It appears the founder is lying about their work, in a way that leads one to doubt their qualifications to finish the job.
I pulled my support days ago but forgot to update this Ello post.
If you're interested in Internet Privacy, a major opportunity just popped up to put some dollars towards a good cause: AnonaBox.
It's a small box that you plug in between your router and line out, and it moves all of your Internet traffic onto TOR. What's TOR? It's a network within the Internet where everyone's communications aren't just encrypted, but they're broken up so that even if some bad guy DOES decode your stuff, they only get a fragment of it. It's powerful enough that different branches of the US government have gone to court against each other to try to kill it or defend it.
With AnonaBox, moving onto TOR should be so easy, your grandma could do it: Just plug this box in, and go.
In my book, that's a cause worth a few bucks to participate in.
