Desert Solitaire Part III
We finished our trip exploring the canyons of Escalante. The desolation and vastness of this place is deafening and the magnitude of the geologic processes on display make you feel tiny and insignificant. We spent several days wandering washes, slot canyons and river valleys, returning to camp knackered, but with just enough motivation to cook a delicious dinner over an open fire.
