I got a sketchbook for Christmas, thanks, Mom. As all Creatives know a blank book is a crime. Its pale pages beg to be filled with dark lines and spectacular color. Here is page one. I feel like I am christening a ship bound for artist adventure.
I found this picture of a mom caressing her little one. I don't care what you happen to be human, ape, dog, cat or parrot; a hug can be a very powerful thing. I'm semi-quoting Roger Rabbit there, though he was talking about laughter.
If you read the words besides the color pencil piece, I didn't land the likeness to the point I am questioning if I changed the race of the model. The thing I love about sketchbooks is they are places to play.
Quick note: I love the little man looking over the fence. Something my Grand father showed me how to do.
