Competition Entry for a new Theater and Art Gallery space next to an abandoned Palladian building in downtown Roxbury, MA. Designed by Ramsey Bakhoum.
This project explored complementing the old Palladian architecture of an abandoned city center with a modern art gallery and theater space. The project made use of a dynamic media wall to filter light within the galleries, as well as a pleated facade which respected yet contrasted the adjacent facades through a more monolithic & theatrical gesture.
