Momma Tried is a transmedia art project focused on site-specific installations, emerging technology, and a print periodical by the same name. Rooted in constructivism and the confrontation of cooperative fictions, much of their work asks: “Are history and fiction interchangeable?” and “How does art and popular media program the future?”

art, things, suff, whatnot Pronounced (bus era)
Megan Hudson Buccere (pronounced bus era) is a narrative painter who works primarily in soft pastels and oils. She attended Louisiana State University, holds a BS in Art Education, and has taught advanced and talented high school art for the past 15 years. Buccere's painting style features soft surreal works that blur the line between beauty and fear, creating stunning pieces with an edge. Her use of coincidental, accidental, and unexpected connections, such as her use of strings, multiple hands, and all knowing eyes, often leaves viewers orphaned with a mix of conflicting feelings and thoughts. Albert Zwaan (@albertzwaan)
Painter (NL) Europe
Albert Zwaan paints urban landscapes. Desolate-looking buildings, surrounded by a lush landscape or abstract, decorative patterns. Landscapes without any people in them. For Zwaan, painting is all about the proper proportions: the contrasts and harmonies between the various colours, the forms and use of paint are all reconsidered with every new canvas.
Zwaan has a striking palette in which soft, pastel shades are dominant. Colours reminiscent of cartoons, graffiti, and weathered paint in old shipyards. Read more: http://www.albertzwaan.nl/01.text

I like to think that the whole universe is relationship. Through vibration and contact, or what is the same, through music and caress, we relate. That's what I see in my creative process: the way materials interact, strength, movement, mind and feeling.
