Continuing my trend of barely-conscious discharges of blathering, slathering, starry-eyed and non-sensical word soup aimed at the people I most admire, I got to briefly share a moment today with David Mitchell (though sadly no photos or handshakes, as he was a bit moistened by illness).
Also there for a portion of the artist's time was a gentleman who brought in his stunning first edition copy of what is generally considered DM's master-work 'Cloud Atlas', which was then, and with every nuance of the term, 'boldly inscribed'.
Yes, I got my thingys signed, too. But alas, just a little less boldly.
I ain't mad though. LOOK AT THAT THING!
