I love that you dare to compose this abstractly: if this piece makes it into the same publication as the preceding microfictions, it'll give the book a really intriguing variety. There are certain sentences that just seem perfect, like they blasted out of the initial Big Bang fully formed: "My biology is difficult, and I view fear as the grandfather of the festival dance backlog." Also I love this mini-drama hiding in one single sentence: "My publisher has brought me a subway angel, and I have no idea what to do with her, so I take her to a performance of an orchestra that only shouts." Now THAT's a postmodern concept, an all-shouting orchestra: I ache to hear it! And the very next sentence is also fine because it balances humor with truth (as it regards the aforesaid "subway angel"); and, as a bonus, it possesses a galloping rhythm: "We have agreed that this is a drawback for us who are wicked." Plus I love that ending: "The breath of phenomenon." (But I felt like I'd be stealing if I ended this reaction with the very same line, therefore I added this extra parenthesis.)
