The Original Art of War series Dunny by @huckgee, which was never produced because it cost too much money to make.
If I was still running that company I'd have made it anyway.
One thing that separates a well-run creative company from the other kind, is that you're making what you're making out of love. Which means that sometimes, you just have to do shit (like this) just because it's mind bogglingly awesome.
Ironically, that's what makes people love you back, and then you make money (at least enough) in the end.
Life is not about making as much money as possible. That sounds trite, but I am someone who actually does like to earn a living. I'm a designer, too. I like nice things.
It's just that there's also purpose behind what we do, whether we recognize it or not. And that's to live, and work, in the service of life.
Not to digress way too far from where I started (which was just to show you some of Huck's amazing work), but Ello is a project like this, too. We're building it because we love it, and it's making our lives better too.
