When a customer comes into the Budnitz Bicycles showroom for the first time, we often hear a variation of, “Wow, I’ve never seen a belt on a bike before!”.
The bicycle chain was invented 120 years ago. Greasy, noisy, and prone to breaking, it’s always been the bike’s weakest link. The extra friction of a dirty bicycle chain means you need to pedal harder to move slower.
Instead, Budnitz exclusively uses high-tech carbon belt drives on all of our bicycle models. Adapted from race cars, our belts weigh less than a third of a traditional bicycle chain. They require no maintenance, are super-low friction, are almost indestructible, and won’t get your pants dirty.
Best of all, our bicycles are silent. Many customers claim that riding a Budnitz is like flying.
Offered with up 14 speeds in an internal transmission, Budnitz creates the fastest, lightest, and most beautiful city bikes in the world.
Starting at $2495.
