Rahul Vajale’s canvases, mostly large, test our responses to reasoning within. Rahul’s language is that of unseen objects, unknown organisms and human forms often get mutated to an extent that they belong to the non-human realm. While this poses an apparent challenge to the notion of form, the forms seek to creep down viewers’ eyes, to locate some sort of reasoning within. Rahul’s works are often spontaneously created having no clear idea or concept at the start. Rather, he builds on his initial thought by adding layers of elements to his works
/my paintings are layered one on top of the other, building up a timeline of acrylic geology. The portraits is then deconstructed and carved revealing colors and textures within each of the layers to create a vision of past and present//.

In my art, I present beauty in the form of female nudes, flowers, and animals. I believe that beauty can represent a form of truth that is internal and universal because of the shared understanding and perception that beauty can provide. I pay homage to the female nudes because I find them beautiful and exciting; I paint flowers because I find them beautiful; and I paint the male counterparts to the female nudes as animals because I do not find the male body to be exciting, which is why I turn them into animals.

(As we wander through a very fast and contemporary artworld populated by a lot of talented people where style, craftsmanship and experience are just one of the few critical turningpoints that make an artist stand out from the sheepherd,it is with great fun and excitement to have a look at the work of Frederik Schnieders.)

Once streamed through the Liberal Arts and Landscape Architecture, now an artist interpreting whatever whimsical wind blows my way. Pepper the spaniel keeps me grounded. Cartoons I made long ago are posted @teragram2. Some day I'll try to reconnect with a blog (RIP blogspot), about my art, but for now the art stands alone.
