Her childhood spent training to be a ballet dancer was the catalyst to a lifetime of artistic creation. She had an awakening that led her to curate the trail of footprints, which encode her imprint on Mother Earth. Through painting, storytelling, photography and filmmaking she began to assemble clues to connect the dots of her Afrocentric and British heritage. Through a process of trial and error, she continues to evolve an aesthetic which reflects her hybrid identity.
Clients include HBO, BBC, Channel 4, Arts Council England, National Trust, The Peace Project.
Influences include Kitaj, Chris Ofili, Niki de Saint Phalle, Maggi Hambling, Basquiat.
