In a personal sense, 2014 was one of my favorite years yet. I worked a little too much, but learned a lot and helped bring some things into the world that I'm really proud of. Ello was the big one, and it's given me new perspectives on the Internet and humanity.
The world was clearly ready for Ello, despite Ello not being quite ready for the world. We were barely starting to invite our personal friends to be our beta testers when the media caught wind of us just a few months ago. Needless to say, we were caught off-guard, but in an amazing way that propelled us into 2015. We're still catching up, and the next few months will be transformative. Ello will soon become the platform that we envisioned as we add several more key features and launch the mobile app.
I've learned that there's a much deeper, more positive social interaction to be had on the web. The stories, information and art that I've seen posted on Ello have inspired me in ways that are unimaginable on other social platforms. The vibe is nicer here, and I thank you all for that.
Here's to a great 2015
