My name is Caitlin McDonagh and I'm a visual artist and illustrator living in Montreal Quebec, Canada. I create intricate, illustrative works that are inspired by folklore, history, storytelling, and various real and unreal sources. Looking at where the line between human life and nature blurs, my pieces often result in a seamless narrative of beings who are showing different sides of themselves - humanistic and animalistic. I work from home with my two cats, using Acrylagouache paints, lots of coffee and podcasts.
Here are three pieces that I created in 2017!
"Lost In a Forest" acrylagouache on watercolor paper, 2017
"Mother and Child" acrylagouache on watercolor paper on panel, 2017.
"Burning Up" acrylagouache on watercolor paper, 2017
