Ungh. This head cold. It feels like an anvil.
I had a running cold already, but the head cold took hold last night, during the startup to Tai Chi. Doing our breathing exercises set something off, and I had to leave the room in a coughing fit. Not good.
It's the start of a new session, so we're back up to fourteen people in the class, making it a crowded room. No doubt that will lessen over the next couple of weeks with the usual dropouts. And people coming here from Kitchener? What the hell is that about?
Related to health stuff, my alcomahol reduction programme is in full effect, which is good. My tolerance is falling, which is the best way to curb consumption, I guess. I'm still relying on alcohol-free beer to give me the sense that I'm still having the beer I want, which isn't really helping with the carbs, but is helping with reducing the actual alcohol, and one thing at a time.
There is a bit of slimming going on, as noticed most in the morning. Not much, but it's there. I have no idea how much because I refuse to step on the scale. The stationary bike is back in service, too, about four or five times a week, in 20 minute sessions.
Enh, it's something. That's more than what could be said for quite a while.
