Bad knee is bad. I don't know if it's the weather or what, but it's awful these last few days. Maybe it has something to do with the amount of walking I have been doing, maybe it's the shitty old Docs I have for winter walking (probably), but it's awful. Every day on the stationary bike isn't doing anything.
What's worst is that it's especially bad when I'm lying down. Which I tend to do for eight hours very night. How can my knee be at its worst when I'm lying down, and there's no weight on it? Tossing and turning and feeling the red hot burn. Awful.
Speaking of sleep...
It's coming along, although I really don't know why I'm working on it. It's amazing the impact that alcomahol has on it -- and I'm keeping to my new low regimen. But listening to the recordings? I'm not any worse than Mom is. I really don't know why I'm the only one to get flak.
As for the drinking -- it's down, and it's staying down. It's incredibly difficult. I'm picking up alcohol-free beer again, which helps with the craving. I know I'm still getting a ton of carbs or whatever, but one thing at a time, and right now it's cutting down on the alcohol itself. All else follows.
Except for my fucking knee.
