Idly checking hotel availability for Chicago on our way back from Graceland, and...
Sold out? Hotels are already sold out for New Year's?
How the fuck is that possible? Who plans earlier than I do?
I'm assuming that 'sold out' means 'sold out of Expedia's allotment', because this shit is cra-zay.
Mind you, it was plenty busy when we were there last year. Chicago seems to be primarly composed of hotels. And I was late by booking in August, as I'd missed out on the dealios to be had for the Palmer House, and had to make do with the Drake. (#firstworldproblems)
I've barely started planning this thing, and already elements are being removed as possibilities. This sucks.
But Graceland, yo.
