I just got an email, changing documents that I had sent out in February. The email itself carried on like we were just talking about this thing, when no, that was in February. Who are you again?
Not ten minutes later, I get an email from our outside client who is related to this matter. "Is this change a problem?" I don't know -- LET ME FUCKING READ IT.
Come on, people. A matter that I last dealt with in February is not front and centre at my desk. I do have other files going on. And giving me ten minutes between receiving a document and asking for comments on it -- it's been ten minutes. I need more time than that. I need more time than if I were taking a dump, mmmkay?
In summary, then, fuck off.
The outside client is pushing me for more comment. Jesus Christ.
I replied with an email which may have been a bit snippy, saying that I haven't had a chance to really look at it yet, because I'm busy working on this other HUGE THING OF YOURS.
If you want me to drop this HUGE THING OF YOURS WORTH HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS to address this $300 deal that doesn't matter to you -- hey, your call.
It'll happen. Keep your pants on. Kee-rist...
