So it turns out that no only did the whole family of this family company fly to Israel for the eldest grandson's Bar Mitzvah, they have also flown over their local Rabbi, so someone familiar to the kid can do the service. And not only that, they have arranged for special access to the Western Wall, so that after the service at the King David Hotel, they don't have to wait in line like everyone else.
It's not obvious on the outside just how rich and well connected this family is, but there's no doubt about it -- they are very rich and very well connected.
And hey -- why not? They earned it.
