So I want to go hiking this weekend. Some time on my own. One option is for Short Hills in St. Catharines (a park I loved but haven't been to since I moved), or Forks of the Credit (which is nice but a bit of a drive). Short Hills would involve spending time with Mom. After two weeks of being with Mom in close proximity (and again being mistaken for a couple) -- I'm ready for a break. Forks of the Credit it is!
The weather isn't looking that hot. I might decide to go to the Pacific Mall instead, which I haven't been to in forever.
Looking at their website just now for hours (must get there before opening, if you're to have a shot at parking), it seems that they had a special event back in March. A Bee Gees tribute band. And being the Pacific Mall, it was a Chinese Bee Gees tribute band.
I wish I had seen it. I'm not sure why, or what part of me specifically needed to see a Chinese Bee Gees tribute band, and perhaps I shouldn't dig into that too deeply, but -- yes. That would have been fantastic.
The poster is something else. Glorious. They've got that shit down.
